这次总共有来自25个国家和地区的158名选手参加第12届世界锦标赛。比赛将分成前后两个阶段，小组赛和淘汰赛，前后时间将长达3个月左右。与去年相比，中国大陆选手从1个增加到了8个，来自上海，北京，郑州和深圳。名单如下：
上海：tick，tengjiming，jenny，gill（jenny和gill都是女将）
北京：beiji
郑州：joyclub
深圳：bobofly，rootfree，dick9925（bobofly是女将）
在等待了很长时间之后，小组抽签终于结束，每个人都将与同组的每位选手之间展开3局较量，并获得TP分数。最后每组TP分最高的4人出线参加淘汰赛。
去年tick小组出线，今年呢？相信大陆选手越来越强。
同时也给海峡对岸的台湾同胞，tzubobo，milk，cltsao和puzzlez加油。
